What is Organic SEO?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is one of the Internet Marketing strategies. SEO is a method to bring your site on top ranking of SERP (Search Engine Result Page) with the help of Organic or natural method. It helps to a site owner to get quality and quantity of traffic towards their site. Usually people are interested for those sites which are in top 10 rank in SERP and having high Page Rank.


SEO is to promote a site by making relevant changes in the content and coding. SEO is to know about the work strategies of Search Engines and to remove the barriers which are creating problem for the indexing of a site. Google, Msn and Yahoo are the 3 major search engines which are widely using by internet surfer. Therefore it is most important for your site that it should be crawled by these search engines. Making your site search engine friendly is the main aim of SEOs (Search Engine Optimizers).
All SEO is basically depends upon 2 things, these are ON PAGE OPTIMIZATION and OFF PAGE OPTIMIZATION. The both of the methods are important for a site to get its targeted traffic.


What is the Difference between Search Engine and Directories ?


First of all I would like to discuss about the word “Search Engine“. There are lots of search engines on Internet where people find results for their quarries.
The main question is what are the Search Engines?
Actually, these Search Engines are a software programme which provides you the results for your quarries. There are 3 major search engines on Internet where usually people go for their searches. These are Google, Yahoo and MSN.
Let’s talk about Google; Google is a Search Engine which has a very huge database in it. Whenever you put a keyword or keyword phrases in Google search box it brings you the most relevant result from its data base. Data base includes millions of different sites with their description.
Now the question is how the Search Engines maintain this data base.
Google has its own Spiders or Robots and what actually Google do, it sends it’s Spider or Robots to crawl the information of the sites and these Spider /robots bring those information to the Search Engines.
Now the second process is indexing the crawled sites.


Search engines collect the information from their Spider/robots and index them as per their quality and popularity means those sites which has quality as well as popularity they will be on the top position. Usually people prefer to click on the top 10 sites that’s why sites owners always try to be on top ten.


Directories are same as Search Engines, as the Search engines has their huge database, Directories also has its own database. But the main difference is that, Directories maintain its database in different categories. There are numbers of Directories on Internet. Some of them are paid and some are free, both of them are valuable but a paid directory helps you to get in its database soon. There are many free directories which give you instant link but most of them provide you deep links which is little bit difficult for Spider/ Robots to crawl it and to index it. But directories are most simple and most rapid method to get one way links for your site.
